Andante’s work in the field of evaluation can be described at three levels.

1. Evaluating projects, programs, policies as independent and external evaluators. Andante undertakes evaluations on commission and can also provide advice to organisations who do their own evaluations.

2. Designing evaluation systems. Andante works with the design of evaluation systems, connecting systems to policies, and analysing the appropriate structures and processes in evaluation systems.

3. Developing evaluation methodology. As evaluation becomes more complex, there is a need to develop methods that can provide answers to ever more intricate and comprehensive questions.
